Collaborator of  Muséum, I have worked at the RUTELINAE Collection of this venerable institution for about ten years;  I have described about twenty new genus and one hundred and fifty new species.

From Massat (Ariège) in the French Pyrénées, I also lived in Algeria, then in Morocco, then near Paris and now in a village in the Var next to Nice.

Highlander and Nature lover, I am very fond of geology. Since I was a child, I have collected minerals and as an amateur of speleology, I have visited the French utter abysses, especially those of Ariège.

Insects, at first a little hobby, have become day after day a devouring obsession. This is now my main occupation...
